Chantelle is a Registered Massage Therapist with Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics. She studied Kinesiology at College of the Rockies in Cranbrook BC and finished her undergraduate at the University of British Columbia in the Okanagan. After some time as a Kinesiologist, she furthered her studies in Massage Therapy at Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences in Nelson BC. Chantelle is keen to use her education and experience to develop individualized treatment plans to help clients recover from injuries, manage pain or maintain muscular health.

Massage therapy involves the manual manipulation of soft tissues within the body. Some types of massage include sports massage, relaxation/swedish massage, and therapeutic or rehabilitative massage. Manual techniques include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, muscle energy and more. It can be used to treat specific conditions, some examples include but not limited to postural imbalances, tendinitis, arthritis, headaches or migraines, neck/shoulder and back pain. Each treatment includes an initial assessment, manual therapy, home care exercises and patient education.

Chantelle is happy to be practicing Massage Therapy in her home-town where she can raise her family and enjoy the Kootenay life. She looks forward to meeting you!
